Hi, I'm Joanna, the author of The Blond Travels. In the worlds of Thailand and Portugal, I feel like a fish in water - and it's no coincidence! I've been exploring Thailand for over a decade, and I've settled in Portugal for 6 years now. My mission is to support Dreamers - just like you - in discovering these fascinating countries and helping those in love with them find their own place on Earth, preferably for good! Let's uncover these unique corners of the world together.

Digital nomadism is quite a new thing in Poland. We are not as brave and daring as people from other countries and most of us were brought up believing that work behind a desk in a big company is the only way forward.

Slowly, however, more and more young people are trying new things and use technology to start businesses and develop their ideas. They look at foreign entrepreneurs, who for a couple of months stop in Poland before they head off to exotic destinations, and think ‘hey, I can do that, too!’ Some government organisations and private companies have already spotted a potential here and are creating more and more things that digital nomads might find useful.

One of them is Clipster – the only co-living space in Poland, created by Gdański Inkubator Przedsiębiorczości Starter and Alfabeat, which help young people with opening their own businesses. A few weeks back Starter invited me to give a little talk about working and living in Thailand at one of their Creative Morning events and because of that I got to spend 2 nights at Clipster.

Here’s a little video of my room and my opinion about the space.

This is my first video on this blog. It is not of the best quality, but I hope you guys appreciate my good intentions and effort and enjoy listening to my Polish accent.

Clipster offers three types of rooms: CoLive Classic (900 zł per month) – the one that you saw in the video, CoLive Pro (1100 zł per month) – a slightly bigger room, where you can even invite a couple of people for some drinks and CoLive Double (1500 zł per month) – fit for two people.

All rooms are equipped with modern furniture and have enough space to live and work.

Apart of that, Clipster offers access to a very small, but cosy, co-working space, where you can meet other people that live in the building. You can also choose to meet with a mentor, who will help you out with the most challenging tasks and answer your questions.

Clipster and Starter organise regular events, where you will meet fellow digital nomads and find out more about what’s going on in the entrepreneurial world.
