Koh Yao Noi is a small island in Thailand, near Krabi. It is not well known as there are not that many attractions. However, it’s great to come here for some peace and quiet. If you are looking for a paradise, you will find it here. Check how to get to Koh Yao Noi.
I spent almost a whole week there and I had a lovely time. Despite the fact that there are not that many things to do and see on Koh Yao Noi, I still had fun.
At the beginning I thought that getting there will be complicated, but nothing could be further from the truth. I organised my transportation without any problems.
You have a couple of options. The best thing to do is to fly from Chiang Mai or Bangkok to Phuket or Krabi.
I started my trip from Krabi. I got there from Chiang Mai directly with AirAsia.
From there you can take a Grab taxi for 560-580 Baht. I decided to take one from the airport terminal. It cost me 650 Baht, but you can bargain and get one for 600.
The taxi will take you to the pier, where you will have to pay 10 Baht entrance fee. Next, you can get a boat for 300 Baht or a slower one for 200 Baht.
When you get to Koh Yao Noi, you need to pay another 10 Baht entrance fee.
The taxi to the hotel costs around 100 Baht per person.
Koh Yao Noi is very conviniently located. From there you can get to:
The boats cruise very often between those places and you can move around easily.
Getting to Koh Yao Noi is very easy and cheap and doesn’t require preparation. If you spend some time there, come back here and let me know in the comments about your impressions.
